Hourly Pay Rate: -14.40

We''re recruiting on behalf of Lloyds Banking Group for an exciting opportunity within their operations team. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong administrative background who enjoy working with data, investigating issues, and ensuring accuracy.
As a Reconciliation Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting reconciliation activities across Scottish Widows policy and pension accounts. You''ll work within a detail-focused environment where accuracy, organisation, and problem-solving skills are highly valued.
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week
- Shifts operate between 8:00am and 6:00pm
- Current shift pattern includes one late shift per week (10:00am to 6:00pm)
- Shift schedules are provided in advance to help you plan ahead
Hybrid Working:
- 40% office-based / 60% remote working
- Flexible office days
- Initial 8-week training period fully office-based (this may be extended depending on business requirements)
- Following successful completion of training, hybrid working arrangements will apply
What You''ll Be Doing:
Working within a busy operational environment, your responsibilities will include:
- Reconciling Scottish Widows policy and pension accounts
- Conducting manual reconciliations and investigations
- Identifying, analysing, and resolving discrepancies within financial records
- Investigating unmatched or incomplete transactions
- Liaising with internal stakeholders to resolve account-related issues
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance requirements are met
- Managing workloads effectively while meeting deadlines and service standards
- Identifying recurring issues and highlighting opportunities for process improvements
Key Skills & Experience:
We''re interested in speaking with candidates who have experience in administration, finance, banking operations, reconciliations, pensions, accounts, or other detail-focused environments.
Successful candidates will demonstrate:
- Strong administrative experience
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
- Confidence working with numerical data and financial information
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to investigate issues and identify root causes
- Effective stakeholder management and communication skills
- Strong organisation and prioritisation skills
- Ability to manage high volumes of work and meet deadlines
