About the Role
This role involves assembling and testing Rechargeable Battery Cells and Battery Packs in Stonehouse. The position requires reading assembly drawings and procedures, identifying components, and operating manufacturing equipment. Key skills include thin film, coating, and winding technologies, plus soldering expertise covering tinning, splicing, turret soldering, and crimping. Candidates will assemble cells into completed packs, troubleshoot faults, and perform tests. The permanent position offers a salary between £24,000 and £36,000 per annum. Successful applicants must complete safety training covering crane, forklift, and drugs and alcohol protocols.
Battery Cell and Pack Assembler required to assemble and test Rechargeable Battery Cells and Battery Packs, troubleshoot and fix and test.
Requirements
Thin film, coating, and winding technologies exposure.
Soldering skills, solder and flux theory and practical experience of tinning, splicing, jenkin spring, turret soldering, crimping, etc.
Tools, solder types and fixtures

Read and interpret assembly drawings, procedures.
Identify components and use pertinent tools and work techniques, operate assembly equipment and tools
Machines operation to manufacture battery cells.
Assemble cells into a completed pack.
Successfully complete required safety trainings including but not limited to crane, forklift, drugs and alcohol
