The Perse School is seeking to appoint two part time Receptionists to provide a professional welcome to parents and visitors as well as vital administrative support to the Upper School office. to join our Maintenance department. Reception at The Perse is the first point of contact for parents, prospective parents and other visitors to the School, and is open from 7.45am – 5.45pm Monday to Friday during term time and 8.00am – 5.00pm during holiday periods. The School Office at the Upper School provides administrative support to Senior Staff, Academic Departments and the Pastoral Team as well as supporting other departments during busy periods (e.g. Admissions).
Reception provides a vital service to the School in providing a professional welcome to parents and visitors, as well as being a source of information and assistance to members of staff and pupils.
The hours are 26.25 per week, full year, to alternate mornings and afternoons, including a handover period (7.45am – 1.00pm and 12.30pm – 5.45pm). Some flexibility in working hours to cover absence would be an advantage.
