The role

As Receptionist, you''ll be at the centre of the guest experience, ensuring every visit runs efficiently and leaves a positive impression. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Welcoming guests and managing check-ins and check-outs
  • Taking reservations and allocating rooms for walk-in guests
  • Responding to guest enquiries and resolving issues professionally
  • Upselling room upgrades and promoting hotel services
  • Liaising with housekeeping on room status and guest requirements
  • Managing late check-outs, early arrivals and special requests
  • Processing room charges, balancing payments and banking
  • Operating the switchboard and handling incoming calls
  • Reviewing function sheets and communicating with departments daily
  • Using Opera Cloud to support efficient front office operations

What we''re looking for

You''ll be a polished, organised and proactive individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced hotel environment. You will have:

  • Previous hotel front office or reception experience
  • Experience using Opera Cloud
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Confidence handling guest queries, payments and administration
  • A professional approach with excellent attention to detail
  • The ability to work effectively with teams across the hotel
