About the Role
The Receptionist/Administrator will play a central role in the smooth and professional running of the front office. Working closely with the Office Manager, the successful candidate will act as the first point of contact for students, staff, parents/carers, and visitors - ensuring that every interaction is welcoming, efficient, and aligned with the values of the setting.
This is a varied and rewarding role that requires someone who is calm under pressure, highly organised, and able to juggle multiple priorities without compromising on professionalism or attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a warm, professional, and helpful front-of-house service
- Manage incoming calls, emails, and visitor enquiries efficiently and courteously
- Support the day-to-day administrative needs of the academy, including data entry, correspondence, document preparation, and record-keeping
- Maintain confidentiality and safeguard sensitive information in line with organisational policies
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to a positive team culture
- Uphold and promote the values, vision, and ethos of the organisation
Candidate Requirements

- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

- A proven ability to organise, prioritise, and manage workloads efficiently
- Previous experience providing high-quality administrative support
Desirable (but not essential):
- Familiarity with school information systems, particularly Bromcom (training can be provided)
