Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting for a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school in the Little Lever area of Bolton.The successful candidate will provide dedicated support to a child in Reception with high-level additional needs, including significant communication difficulties.This child requires a consistent, nurturing adult who can provide support throughout the school day while ensuring they are able to participate in learning and development opportunities alongside their peers.The RoleProviding consistent 1:1 support within a Reception classroom.Supporting a child with ASD and significant communication needs.Helping the child access the EYFS curriculum and play-based learning.Supporting communication, social interaction and emotional regulation.Adapting activities to meet individual needs.Supporting classroom routines and transitions.Encouraging independence and participation.Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO.Providing a calm, predictable and nurturing presence.The Ideal CandidateYou will ideally have:Previous EYFS experience - essential.Experience supporting children with SEN and/or ASD.A genuine passion for working with children with additional needs.A ..... full job details .....
