Reception Teaching Assistant

TSSI Recruit on behalf of our client mainstream primary school are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and reliable-Reception Teaching Assistant-to join one of their reception class to start immediately. This is a full-time role Monday - Friday, to December 2025.

About the role

Working as a full time teaching assistant in reception, the school are looking for an individual-to support children in their crucial early learning journey,-with the below-

• Experience working with pupils in EYFS or KS1
• Experience working on a 1-2-1 basis with pupils
• Supporting pupils with their learning, play and social development
• Assisting the class teacher with daily activities and routines
• Helping to create a positive and engaging classroom environment
• Be able to commit to a full academic term full time to December 2025
• Have a DBS on the update service, or be willing to acquire one from TSSI Recruit.
• Be punctual and enthusiastic daily
• Supporting the class teacher where needed
