About the Role:
Are you a passionate and nurturing Early Years practitioner looking for a rewarding teaching opportunity this autumn£ We are recruiting for a Reception Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in East Grinstead on a full-time, paid-to-scale basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a Reception class and support early childhood development during a crucial stage in their learning journey.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons in line with the EYFS framework
Create a supportive, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment
Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching as required
Collaborate effectively with support staff and parents
Maintain high standards of behaviour and safeguarding
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching within Early Years (Reception preferred)
Strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum
A nurturing approach with excellent classroom management skills
A valid DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
