Supply Desk is partnering with a welcoming primary school in Cheshamandnbsp;seeking an experienced and dedicated Reception Teacher to join their outstanding team. This is a full-time role with the potential for the right candidate to secure a permanent position.
About the Role:
- Deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate lessons tailored to the diverse needs of Reception-aged children
- Plan and prepare creative learning activities that support all areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
- Foster a nurturing and positive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, exploration, and confidence
- Build strong, supportive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to promote holistic development and wellbeing
- Use observational assessments to monitor progress and inform future planning, ensuring every childandrsquo;s individual needs are met
- Promote positive behaviour through consistent routines and clear, kind communication
- Encourage social, emotional, and communication skills development through play-based learning and collaborative activities
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Demonstrate strong classroom management abilities
- Experience teaching in a primary school setting
- Energetic and passionate educator who embraces the schoolandrsquo;s commitment to achieving the best outcomes for every pupil
- Well-developed organisational and communication skills
