This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic Early Years teacher to join a supportive team and make a real impact in the Reception class from September 2025 until the end of the academic year.
About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and creative Early Years Teacher to take on a full-time position in the schoolandrsquo;s Reception class. The successful candidate will join a collaborative and caring staff team who are passionate about early childhood education. Whether you''re an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT), you will be well supported in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, play-based lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
- Provide a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that supports childrenandrsquo;s development
- Monitor and assess pupilsandrsquo; progress, tailoring your teaching to meet individual needs
- Foster positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
- Participate in team planning and contribute to a shared ethos of high-quality early education
- Keep accurate records of childrenandrsquo;s development and learning journeys
What Weandrsquo;re Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) andndash; ECTs are encouraged to apply
- A strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and early years pedagogy
- A passion for helping young children thrive in a warm and inclusive setting
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-first approach
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- An Enhanced DBS check on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
