About the Role:

Step into a rewarding role where youandrsquo;ll shape the very beginning of a childandrsquo;s educational journey. As a Reception Teacher, youandrsquo;ll play a key part in creating joyful, meaningful learning experiences that lay the foundation for future success.

Your role will involve:


  • Crafting creative, age-appropriate learning activities that spark curiosity and confidence
  • Cultivating a warm, inclusive classroom where every child feels safe and supported
  • Supporting the emotional and social development of young learners
  • Working closely with a dedicated team to share ideas and drive progress
  • Using play-based approaches to encourage active exploration and discovery
  • Building positive relationships with families to support learning beyond the classroom
  • Observing and tracking childrenandrsquo;s development, adapting teaching as needed
  • Helping pupils grow in independence and develop vital early social skills

What Weandrsquo;re Looking For:


  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS), or equivalent is preferred - though experienced, passionate candidates without formal qualifications are also encouraged to apply
  • Previous experience in a Reception class or Early Years environment is a strong advantage
  • A creative, child-centred approach to teaching and learning
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with children, staff, and parents
  • A collaborative team player with a supportive and proactive attitude
