A highly regarded and inclusive primary school in Lambeth is seeking an enthusiastic Reception Teacher to join their Early Years team from September 2026.

This vibrant and community-focused school is recognised for its strong EYFS provision, nurturing environment and creative curriculum. The successful Reception Teacher will join a collaborative Early Years team with well-established routines, excellent indoor and outdoor learning spaces, and strong support from leadership.

The school places a major focus on early language development, phonics and learning through play, helping children build confidence and independence from the start of their school journey.

The successful Reception Teacher will:

• Plan and deliver engaging EYFS lessons and continuous provision
• Support early reading, communication and social development
• Create a positive and stimulating classroom environment
• Track progress through observations and assessment
• Work closely with support staff and parents

The ideal Reception Teacher will:

• Hold QTS with recent EYFS teaching experience
• Have strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and phonics
• Be creative, organised and nurturing in approach
• Maintain high expectations for learning and behaviour
• Work well as part of a collaborative team
