Reception Teaching Assistant - Primary School - GlossopTradewind Recruitment are currently looking for a highly experienced Reception Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the Glossop area.This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and capable TA who has a strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and experience working specifically within Reception.The RoleSupporting the Reception class teacher with the day-to-day running of the classroom.Providing targeted support to children across the EYFS curriculum.Supporting children''s learning, development and progress through engaging activities.Helping children develop their communication, social and emotional skills.Supporting classroom routines, transitions and continuous provision.Working closely with the class teacher and wider school team to ensure children receive high-quality support.Creating a nurturing, safe and stimulating environment where children can thrive.The Ideal CandidateEssential: Significant previous experience working in a Reception classroom.Strong knowledge and understanding of the EYFS framework.Ideally hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant or Early Years qualification.Confident supporting children''s learning through play and structured activities.Warm, nurturing and patient approach with young children.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Reliable, proactive and able to work effectively as part of a busy Reception team.A strong understanding of ..... full job details .....
