      <description>Location: Stechford | Salary: &amp;pound;92 - &amp;pound;109/day | Type: Temporary | 1:1 Teaching Assistant - Reception (ASD Support)  Stechford, Birmingham Start Date: 1st September 2026 | Until 21st July 2027 (Potential to Extend)  We are currently seeking a caring, resilient, and dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the Stechford area of Birmingham. This is a full-time role starting in September 2026 and running until July 2027, with the potential to be extended for the right candidate.  The successful candidate will provide dedicated 1:1 support for a Reception-aged pupil with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) who is currently non-verbal. The pupil requires a consistent and patient adult who can support their communication, learning, emotional wellbeing, and daily routines throughout the school day.  The ideal candidate will have a calm and nurturing approach whilst maintaining clear and consistent boundaries. They will be confident in implementing routines, encouraging independence where appropriate, and responding positively to the child''s individual needs.
