Sign in on arrival at each site and follow any client-specific access or safety procedures. Repairs and replacement: Diagnose faults quickly and accurately, fix damaged parts, replace broken components and restore systems to a safe, working condition. Building fabric: Carry out general building fabric and groundworks repairs, such as doors, locks, fixtures and fittings, patch repairs, paving and minor external works. Plumbing: Handle everyday plumbing tasks, including changing taps, tracing and repairing leaks, and clearing blocked sinks and WCs. Quoting and follow-ups: Where a job cannot be completed on the first visit, identify the materials, parts and time needed so that a follow-up can be quoted and booked correctly. Reporting: Update each job on the PDA after every visit, recording the work carried out, time on site, parts used and any further work required. Accurate notes are essential so jobs can be invoiced, quoted and closed correctly.
