About the Role
As a Reach Truck Driver, you will join a leading logistics provider supporting a major automotive manufacturer in Aston. This full-time position offers a long-term ongoing contract with a pay rate of £15.16 per hour. Working rotating shifts (06:00–13:30 and 13:30–21:00), you will be responsible for line feeding and operating a Worksaver Pallet Truck within a modern automotive warehouse. Key skills include certified Reach Truck experience and the ability to maintain efficient production line supply. Free parking is provided. This role is easily accessible from Hockley, Aston, Perry Barr, and Central Birmingham.

Are you an experienced Reach Truck Driver looking for a long-term opportunity within the automotive industry?
We are recruiting on behalf of a leading logistics provider supporting a major automotive manufacturer in North Birmingham. This is a fast-paced and rewarding role where you will play a key part in keeping production lines running efficiently and safely.
We are looking for confident and reliable FLT Drivers with strong Reach Truck experience and the ability to work within a busy automotive production environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Operating Reach Trucks safely within a busy automotive warehouse and production environment
- Carrying out line feeding duties to ensure production lines remain fully supplied
- Using Worksaver pallet trucks to transport materials and components across site
- Moving stillages, pallets, cages, and automotive parts efficiently and accurately
- Supporting production and logistics teams to maintain smooth operations
- Completing stock movements and material replenishment in line with site procedures
- Assisting with general warehouse and housekeeping duties when required
What We’re Looking For
- Valid Reach Truck licence issued or refreshed within the last 3 years
- Minimum 12 months’ Reach Truck experience within a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment
- Previous automotive industry experience would be advantageous
- Experience using Worksaver pallet trucks or similar MHE equipment preferred
- Strong awareness of health and safety procedures
- Reliable, flexible, and able to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Comfortable working both on and off the trucK
