About the Role

This permanent full-time position is for a Reach Truck / Counterbalance Forklift Operative based in Bristol (Patchway, BS34). Working Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 17:00, you will receive £14.50 per hour. Your duties include safely operating both Reach Truck and Counterbalance forklifts, loading and unloading lorries, and performing general warehouse tasks. The role demands strong attention to safety and accuracy. Successful applicants will hold valid, in-date licences for both vehicle types and have proven experience in a similar warehouse setting. Job Overview
We are currently recruiting an experienced and reliable Reach Truck / Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join a busy warehouse operation in Patchway, Bristol (BS34). This is a full-time, Monday to Friday role offering a competitive hourly rate and stable working hours.
The successful candidate will be responsible for forklift operation as well as general warehouse duties, supporting daily operations in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of safety and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities

Operating Reach Truck and Counterbalance forklifts safely and efficiently
Loading and unloading goods from lorries and internal storage areas
Moving, stacking, and replenishing stock within the warehouse
Picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch
Using handheld scanners and warehouse computer systems (WMS)
Conducting basic forklift checks and reporting any faults
Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment
Adhering strictly to all health and safety procedures
Requirements
Valid Reach Truck and Counterbalance forklift licence (RTITB, ITSSAR, NPORS, or equivalent)
Previous experience working in a warehouse or distribution environment
Confident using scanners and basic computer systems
Good attention to detail and accuracy
Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
Strong time management and reliability
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
