Reach Stacker Operative

We are currently recruiting an experienced Reach Stacker Operator to join our client at a busy container storage yard. This is a temporary role for an initial 12-week period, with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate.Duration: 12 weeks - Potential to go PermanentPay Rate: 13.13 per hourHours: Monday to Friday, 06:45 - 16:30 (overtime and weekend work may be required)Key Responsibilities:Safely operate a reach stacker/container lifter to move and position containers and isotanksWork within an environment handling bulk chemicals in isotanks, with full awareness of emergency proceduresComplete daily safety checks using company-provided technology/appsParticipate in safety walk-round auditsComplete required paperwork and administration, including templates and interchange documentationAdhere strictly to terminal safety procedures, traffic management rules, and operating processesCarry out safe liner removal and fitting in bulk containers to prepare for customer useRemove garment rails and other container fittings to return units to general-purpose specificationMaintain high standards of housekeeping, ensuring a clean and safe terminal environmentAccurately report any faults, damage, incidents, or near-misses to supervisorsRequirements:Valid Reach Stacker licence or relevant experienceStrong understanding of health and safety proceduresAbility to complete basic paperwork and use digital systemsReliable, safety-focused, and able to work as part of a ..... full job details .....
