REACH Manager

We are currently recruiting for a REACH Compliance Manager to support chemical regulatory compliance and Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) activities within a leading engineering and aerospace environment.Reporting to the HSE Manager, you will act as a key point of contact for REACH matters, supporting the REACH Manager and representing the local site within the wider REACH team.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as the main point of contact between the local site and the UK REACH Manager.Provide support, information and updates to the wider REACH team.Represent the local site within REACH meetings and activities.Support the REACH Manager with their responsibilities.Identify and assess REACH-related risks and potential issues.Work with the local Risk Management team to identify ways to reduce and manage risks.Support the HSE Manager with wider HSE-related tasks and activities.About YouWe are looking for someone with experience in REACH / chemical compliance /environmental compliance who is comfortable working with different teams and managing information.You will need to be organised, analytical and able to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders.Key SkillsDegree in chemistry, chemical engineering or similarExperience of working within the chemical industry or authorities; experience in regulatory affairs is a mustExtensive knowledge of UK/EU policy on Chemicals, especially REACHExcellent communication, interpersonal and networking skills.Strong capacity to communicate ..... full job details .....
