Acorn by Synergie is recruiting experienced Reach and Counterbalance Forklift Drivers to join a client''s site in Avonmouth.

This is a temporary ongoing role offering stable, full-time work within a supportive manufacturing environment. The position can be physically demanding and repetitive, so reliability, focus and a strong work ethic are essential.

• -15.49 per hour for rotating morning and afternoon shifts.

• -14.41 per hour for static 9am-5pm shifts.

• Perform accurate picking of raw materials, packaging and finished goods, and wrap, check and despatch orders to meet deadlines.

• Load and unload vehicles to ensure the safe, efficient and timely movement of goods.

• Receive, check and store deliveries via system-directed put-away to maintain stock integrity.

• Operate reach truck and counterbalance forklifts daily to move and locate pallets safely.

• Conduct cycle counts and stock accuracy checks to uphold precise records.

• Book stock movements on warehouse systems to keep data current and traceable.

• Maintain cleanliness and follow Health & Safety and food hygiene procedures to support compliant operations.

• Replenish locations, split stock and complete warehouse moves to optimise availability and workflow.

• Investigate routine discrepancies, provide basic warehouse information and escalate non-routine issues to protect inventory accuracy.

• Rotate across all warehouse-related tasks to support efficient warehouse operations.

• Reach truck and counterbalance licences are required - RTITB / ITSSAR.

• Demonstrable experience operating powered lift equipment and carrying out manual handling to move and secure palletised stock safely.

• Demonstrable experience conducting cycle counts, investigating routine variances and maintaining accurate records in warehouse systems.

• Demonstrable experience working rota-driven shifts in compliance with Health & Safety and food hygiene standards.

• Understanding of stock control, cycle counting and booking stock movements in warehouse systems.

• Awareness of safe operation and basic checks of powered lift equipment and manual handling for palletised stock.

• Awareness of food hygiene, Health & Safety procedures and site-specific compliance for warehouse operations.
