The role would be starting September on a long term contract until at least July 26. The successful candidate will be teaching RE to students in KS3 and KS4, working in a supportive department. The School will consider non-specialist RE teachers for this role with experience teaching RE in Secondary Schools.Responsibilities:- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in Religious Education, catering to different learning styles and abilities.- Create an inclusive and stimulating classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and critical thinking.- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support where needed.- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum materials and contribute to the overall improvement of the department.About the School:The school is based in Portsmouth and is mixed Secondary School for students aged from 11 to 16 years with around 900 students in total.
