RE Teacher - Slough - September 2026

Quantum Scholars are working in partnership with a "Good" Ofsted-rated secondary school in Slough, Berkshire, who are seeking a dynamic and passionate Religious Education Teacher to join them from September 2026.This is a full-time, permanent position. The successful candidate will deliver engaging RE lessons across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5.This role would suit an ECT or someone who is relatively new to teaching. The school takes great pride in fostering positive relationships across the entire community, with strong behaviour and a supportive learning environment throughout.Responsibilities:Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging RE lessons to students of varying abilities, ensuring strong progress for all learnersDevelop a curriculum that promotes critical thinking, reflection, and a deeper understanding of world religions and ethical issuesMark and assess student work, providing clear and constructive feedbackMaintain high standards of behaviour and create a positive, respectful classroom environmentContribute to departmental meetings, curriculum development, and teaching strategiesAttend parents'' evenings and school events as requiredWork collaboratively with colleagues to achieve the best outcomes for all studentsRequirements:Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualificationExperience teaching RE up to A-Level (11-18)Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage a range of learnersA genuine passion for delivering an inclusive ..... full job details .....
