Reed Engineering and Manufacturing are working with a leading Engineering and Manufacturing company Raw Materials Manager About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Raw Materials Manager to take full ownership of the end-to-end management of raw materials and revert operations at our site in Sheffield.Working closely with the Raw Materials Buyer and Senior Operations Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring a reliable, efficient, and cost-effective material supply chain. This position is critical to supporting production, driving sustainability through revert optimisation, and delivering operational excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesHealth, Safety and ComplianceEnsure full compliance with all health, safety, and environmental standardsCreate and maintain Safe Working Procedures (SWPs) and Risk AssessmentsLead departmental audits and ensure corrective actions are implementedMaintain training compliance in line with the departmental training matrixOperations and Supply ChainManage raw material stock levels in line with production demandWork closely with Planning, Production, and Procurement teamsCreate and manage melting charges using ABS and Odoo systemsEnsure production teams are supplied with the required materials on timeMaintain accurate inventory records to support operational planningLeadership and DevelopmentLead, motivate, and develop a high-performing teamImplement training and succession plansDrive a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous ..... full job details .....
