RandD Test Technician £25.95 per hour + Inside IR35 + Day Shift + Training On Internal Systems + Travel Opportunities Peterborough (Commutable from: Cambridge, Huntingdon, Stamford, Ely, Bedford, Northampton, Newmarket, Wisbech) Are you an RandD Advanced Power Systems Technician looking to work on electrification, hybrid and powertrain development, with a day-shift pattern and an inside IR35 contract? Do you enjoy build/strip/rebuild, diagnostics and test activity where your work directly supports engineering decisions? This is a secure long-term contract opportunity in an advanced engineering environment, offering day shifts (08:00-16:30) and the chance to develop capability on specialist internal systems and tooling. You''ll be trusted to deliver to programme deadlines, with occasional travel as projects require. You''ll be joining a multi-disciplinary RandD set-up working across emerging powertrain technologies and test-bed development, in a highly visible team supporting multiple internal stakeholders. The role offers broad exposure across mechanical, electrical, diagnostic and testing activities. Based on-site in Peterborough, you''ll support advanced power system development programmes, carrying out build/strip/measure work, electrical safety checks, test-bed activity, and reporting data/issues back to engineering leads.
