RandD Test and Validation EngineerStamford, PE9Full-time - 37.5 hours per weekContract - 12 months - Hybrid working We''re seeking a skilled Powertrain Test and Validation Engineer (Power Electronics + Motor/Generator) to provide on-site technical support for the development and validation of electric powertrain systems. You will play an important part in the Powertrain design team and the test facility, combining hands-on test execution with product validation, data analysis, and issue resolution to ensure robust validation of next-generation electric powertrains. Travel between Stamford and Nottingham test sites is required. RandD Test and Validation Engineer Shifts: Monday to Friday Flexible office hours RandD Test and Validation Engineer Rate of Pay: 16.41 - 28.21 per hour RandD Test and Validation Engineer Responsibilities: Manage daily powertrain (PE + MG) test cell activities, including test setup, execution, and data collection Develop and execute test procedures for electrical validation of powertrain systems Collaborate with Power Electronics and Motor/Generator design teams to define validation requirements and test plans Investigate and resolve system/component issues, driving root cause analysis and corrective actions to closure Analyse and correlate test and simulation data (e.g. using MATLAB, Ansys) and generate clear technical reports and review presentations Support test facility setup, instrumentation, data acquisition, and troubleshooting Ensure data ..... full job details .....
