RandD Technician required on a permanent basis, based in Greater Manchester. Requiring proven industrial experience of developing polymer based products, specifically thermoplastics. Title: RandD Technician Location: Greater ManchesterSalary: 28,000 - 40,000 (dependent on experience)Term: PermanentSRG are working with a well-established manufacturer of speciality chemical products for the polymer industry who have been consistently growing for a number of years. They are now seeking to hire an RandD Technician at their site based in Greater Manchester. This role will be a laboratory based and hands-on role that will include developing both new and existing polymer-based products. A range of experience will be considered and so will prove an excellent opportunity for candidates with proven industrial experience of developing polymer based products, specifically thermoplastics.Role / Description Supporting in the development of both of new and existing products.Potentially liaising directly with customers and clients to provide technical support.Conduct application and stability testing of new and existing products using a range of techniques.Remain up to date with current developments in the market.General maintenance of laboratory areas and equipment.
