RandD Engineer

Due to continued investment in innovation and product development, our client is seeking an ambitious RandD Engineer to join their engineering team.This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys turning ideas into practical solutions, working on new product development, and driving continuous improvement within a manufacturing environment.Your New RoleAs an RandD Engineer, you will play a key role in the design, development and enhancement of innovative engineering products. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will be involved throughout the entire product lifecycle from concept generation and design through to testing, validation and production implementation.Key responsibilities will include:Researching and developing innovative product solutions.Supporting new product introduction (NPI) projects from concept through to launch.Producing detailed 3D CAD models, drawings and engineering documentation.Conducting product testing, analysis and validation activities.Working closely with production teams to ensure designs are manufacturable and cost-effective.Identifying opportunities for product improvement, weight reduction and cost optimisation.Investigating emerging technologies, materials and manufacturing methods.Supporting continuous improvement activities across engineering and ..... full job details .....
