RandD Assistant Location: Clevedon, North Somerset Hours: Permanent, 40 hours per week Monday to Thursday: 8:45am - 4:45pm Friday: 8:45am - 4:00pm 45-minute paid lunch break Salary: Competitive We are recruiting for an RandD Assistant to join a leading food manufacturing business specialising in flavourings and seasonings. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to begin or develop a career within food product development, working as part of an innovative Research and Development team in a modern laboratory environment. Key Responsibilities of an RandD Assistant: Prepare product samples to meet customer requirements. Pack and despatch samples accurately and on time. Communicate sample despatch details and technical information to customers. Maintain accurate records of sample requests and shipments. Prepare meeting and tasting areas for customer visits. Ensure refreshments and meeting facilities are fully stocked and presented. Assist with lunch preparation for customer visits when required. Ensure all work complies with food safety and hygiene standards. Work closely with the RandD, Commercial and Marketing teams. Support the development of new products within the RandD department.
