About the Opportunity

Paradigm Employment Services are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established international engineering and manufacturing business for an R&D Technician to join their growing technical team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a practical electronics background who enjoys fault finding, testing and supporting the development of innovative electronic products within a modern manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the R&D team with new product development
• Test and validate new electronic products and functions
• Repair and diagnose electronic products and assemblies
• Support product qualification and verification activities
• Record test results and technical findings
• Work closely with engineering and technical teams on product improvements

About You

You''ll ideally have:

• HNC/HND or equivalent in Electronics (or similar)
• 2+ years'' experience within electronics, R&D or test engineering
• Good understanding of electronic circuits and electrical principles
• Experience testing, fault finding or repairing electronic products
• Good IT skills (Microsoft Office/Outlook)
• A proactive, organised and methodical approach
