Roles & Responsibilities Build, assemble and modify engineering prototypes and development assemblies. Create, maintain and update manufacturing work instructions and technical documentation. Train production operatives in new and revised manufacturing processes. Read and make basic modifications to engineering drawings and documentation through the DCN process. Set up and conduct development testing, accurately recording results and engineering data. Build and modify test rigs, fixtures and other equipment to support development activities. Investigate and resolve practical manufacturing, assembly and production issues. Participate in design reviews, providing practical manufacturing and assembly input. Maintain accurate prototype build, test and engineering records. Carry out hands-on engineering activities within workshop and laboratory environments.
