Imaging Manager Spire Shawfair Park Hospital, Edinburgh Full time Competitive SalarySpire Shawfair Park Hospital is recruiting for a Imaging Manager to run the Imaging department on a day to day basis due to increased service demand and growth within the hospital.Duties and responsibilities:Plan staff rotas and skill mix maximising the staff resource and equipment capacity across the departmentsLine manage and develop a discrete team within the department including performance mattersTo be actively involved in the recruitment of new members of staffGive judgement on a variety of complex clinical, staff and operational problemsUndertake clinical duties and participate in the 7 day services/ on-call when necessaryTake the highly specialist lead role in the Imaging department consummate to expertiseAct as a Specialist Diagnostic Imaging resource for the multi-disciplinary team and Radiographers within Spire HealthcareUndertake evidence based projects, including recommendations for changes in practice.Who we''re looking for:Degree (BSc Hons) - RadiographyHCPC RegistrationIdeally MRI experience Post-Graduate Diploma in specialist programme providing specialist skill and knowledge expertiseExperience of clinical leadership e.g. developing peersExperience of applying clinical reasoning skills to a range of complex and varied casesExperience of working in partnership with consultants and participating in creating innovative solutions for new imaging servicesBenefits:We offer ..... full job details .....
