Radio Frequency Design Engineer

Our client is seeking a Radio Frequency Design Engineer to join its Global Services team in Romsey. Working within the defence and security sector, you will design, develop and test advanced RF and analogue electronics for defence, electromagnetic warfare, positioning and timing applications. This permanent position offers the opportunity to contribute to high-impact projects that support national security and critical missions.Key Responsibilities:Design, simulate and implement RF and analogue electronic circuits and systemsConduct hands-on RF testing, integration, troubleshooting and fault-finding to optimise system performance, including impedance, VSWR and wideband operationDevelop solutions across frequencies from LF through to X-band, supporting applications such as low-noise amplifiers, receivers and high-power amplifiersPrepare and maintain design specifications, test plans, technical reports and compliance evidenceParticipate in design reviews and provide technical support to Technical Leads, Project Managers, Design Authorities and Systems EngineersSupport the transition of development hardware into production, including environmental, qualification and design certification testingProvide technical guidance, mentoring and feedback to junior engineersCollaborate with internal and external stakeholders while identifying opportunities to improve engineering processes and practicesJob Requirements:Degree-level qualification in Electronics Engineering or a related ..... full job details .....
