You''ll be responsible for preparing freight quotations, responding to customer enquiries and following up opportunities to help turn quotes into bookings.Key ResponsibilitiesPreparing freight quotations using the company''s 360 portal and in-house systemsEnsuring quotations are accurate and sent to customers quicklyFollowing up quotations with customers by phoneAsking the right questions to understand customer requirements and maximise booking opportunitiesMonitoring and mapping competitor activityProviding feedback to management and the team leader that could help secure future bookingsBuilding positive relationships with customers through professional and friendly communicationAbout YouGood customer service skills, both by phone and emailStrong attention to detailComfortable working with basic maths and using a calculatorGood basic IT skillsConfident speaking with customers and asking relevant questionsOrganised, proactive and able to work to a fast turnaroundPrevious experience within freight forwarding, logistics or a quotations environment would be advantageous, but attitude, customer service skills and attention to detail are key.WR ..... full job details .....
