Quarry Trainer

We are seeking an experienced Quarry Trainer to support the development and qualification of employees across a range of operational roles within heavy industry environments.This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in quarrying or similar site-based operations who is looking to transition into a development and assessment role, helping others progress in their careers across areas such as drilling, shotfiring, and commercial driving (Class 1 and 2).You will play a key role in supporting learners through their qualifications, ensuring fair and consistent assessment, maintaining compliance with awarding body standards, and contributing to workforce development across multiple disciplines.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out vocational assessments in line with awarding organisation requirementsSupport learners through their training and qualification journeyUse e-portfolio systems to track progress and provide structured feedbackWork closely with employers, colleagues, and training providersHelp maintain high standards of safety, compliance, and competence across site-based rolesEssential RequirementsStrong quarrying or heavy industry site experience, desirably in roles involving drilling, shotfiring, or operational drivingGood understanding of industry standards and safe working practicesConfident IT skills, including use of e-portfolio systemsFull UK driving licence and willingness to travel between sitesStrong communication, organisation, and time management ..... full job details .....
