We''re expanding our slate portfolio and growing our footprint - and we''d like you to join us on that journey.Key ResponsibilitiesWhat you''ll be doingAs a Quarry Operative, you''ll primarily operate mobile plant machinery to support safe quarry activities, including:Extracting slate block from the quarry faceTransporting materials to our onsite slate manufacturing facilitiesAssisting with general quarry operations as neededYou''ll work in a hands-on environment, surrounded by skilled colleagues who take pride in their craft - and who know how to have a laugh along the way.Skills, Knowledge and ExpertiseWhat we''re looking forYou''ll be a great fit if you:Hold a full UK driving licence (due to our rural location)Have an interest in the construction materials industry and mobile plant machineryHave experience operating mobile plant (e.g. articulated dump trucks, excavators) in a quarry environment - this is an advantage but not essential as full training will be providedYou are happy to be working outside in all weathersOur current working pattern is days, but future shift work may be required.Job BenefitsWhat we offerCompetitive salary ..... full job details .....
