Quarry Manager Macclesfielfd, Cheshire Are you an experienced Quarry Manager, Assistant Quarry Manager or Section Manager looking for your next challenge? We''re recruiting for a key operational leadership role within a well-established sand and gravel operation in Cheshire. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you''ll take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the quarry, leading the operational team while driving safety, production and continuous improvement across the site. This isn''t simply a supervisory role. You''ll become the Operations Manager''s right-hand person, taking ownership of quarry performance and stepping into full site leadership whenever required. The Role Working within a busy sand and gravel operation incorporating dredging, processing and drying, you''ll play a key role in ensuring the quarry operates safely, efficiently and to the highest operational standards. You''ll be responsible for: Leading the day-to-day operation of the quarry. Driving an industry-leading health, safety and environmental culture. Managing production performance, quality and operational efficiency. Leading, coaching and developing operational teams. Working closely with maintenance to maximise plant reliability and minimise downtime. Managing budgets, KPIs and operational reporting. Ensuring legislative and company compliance across the site.
