Quantity Surveyor/Senior Quantity Surveyor

Our client is a well-established and growing business operating across civil engineering, renewables, road and bridge works, environmental projects and building works. They are looking to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Inverness. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused Quantity Surveyor to take an active role in the successful delivery of projects, while helping to develop existing client relationships and identify new business opportunities. Working closely with the wider construction and commercial teams, you will play an important role in strengthening the company''s position within the civil engineering and infrastructure sectors. The Role As Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will form part of the construction team on allocated contracts and be responsible for supporting the financial and contractual management of projects from commencement through to completion. Key Responsibilities Form part of the construction team for specific contracts. Assist with the financial and contractual control of allocated projects. Undertake the re-measurement of trades relevant to each contract. Prepare and submit interim applications for payment. Value relevant and valid contract variations for inclusion within applications for payment. Prepare and process supplier and subcontractor payments.
