Do you have the skills to fill this role Read the complete details below, and make your application today.The Quantity Surveyor will provide commercial support to project teams, maintaining commercial information and ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and the Company’s ‘Three Pillar’ objectives. They will liaise with customer representatives and other third parties on commercial issues including agreement of variations, claims and any additional payments.Key Responsibilities:ReportingEnsure robust, accurate and timely cost and value reporting at both project and business unit levelEnsure accurate cash flow reporting takes placeCarry out cost management including forecastingUpdate the monthly CVR, cost and commercial plansProcessesHelp ensure that internal commercial processes are adhered to across the business unitActively seek to improve processes and proceduresHold a good understanding of the processes and procedures used by any JV/Alliance that we are working within, and assist in their development and improvementExternal relationshipsHelp ensure that any main contracts entered into have terms and conditions that are appropriate for Barhale, with commercial risks identifiedEnsure that the supply chain is engaged appropriately with the correct contract terms and conditionsBuild and maintain good client relationshipsBe responsible for subcontract letting, negotiation and financial accountingPrepare applications ..... full job details .....
