Quantity Surveyor - Water

Your new company You will be joining a well-established and highly respected contractor based in Walsall with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects within the water sector. This multi-accredited contractor delivers clean and waste water capital programmes directly for multiple major water providers and is well-known for its collaborative culture, customer-focused approach and commitment to developing its people. Due to continued success and a strong pipeline of AMP8 projects, they are actively seeking a talented Quantity Surveyor to join their team.This is a full-time permanent position based out of their Walsall office with hybrid and flexible working.Your new role As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in the commercial management of water infrastructure projects. Working closely with operational and commercial teams, you will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered profitably while maintaining strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and stakeholders.Key responsibilities will include:Managing project costs from inception through to final accountPreparing and submitting applications for paymentAdministering subcontractor accounts, payments and variationsProducing cost reports, forecasts and cash flow projectionsIdentifying and managing commercial risks and opportunitiesSupporting procurement activities and subcontract negotiationsEnsuring compliance with contract requirements and commercial proceduresWorking closely with ..... full job details .....
