My client, a main contractor delivering water main renewal and clean water civils projects, has an immediate opportunity to join the commercial team supporting multiple live schemes.Responsibilities Administer commercial and financial aspects of projects across the programmePrepare CVRs, cost and value reports, applications for payment and forecastsManage procurement for labour, plant, materials and subcontract packagesLead subcontract management from terms and risk attribution to final accountManage change through Early Warnings and VariationsAdminister the principal contract, including NEC and IChemE Burgundy BookProvide VOWD and demand forecasting with robust cost controlWork closely with delivery teams to support safe and efficient deliveryIdentify opportunities to improve value and margin Skills and Experience Degree, HND or equivalent in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management, or substantial relevant experienceExperience in water, utilities or civil infrastructureStrong working knowledge of NEC. JCT and IChemE experience beneficialProactive approach to risk and opportunity managementIntermediate to advanced Excel, confident handling large data setsFull UK driving ..... full job details .....
