Quantity Surveyor

About the Role We are looking for an experienced and commercially driven Quantity Surveyor to join our team and take responsibility for the commercial management of a diverse portfolio of hard services, facilities management and construction projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor who enjoys working across both planned and reactive hard services and capital construction projects, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and within agreed budgets. You will work closely with project managers, operational teams, contractors and clients, providing strong commercial oversight from initial scope and procurement through to completion and final account. Key Responsibilities Manage the commercial and contractual aspects of hard services and construction projects. Prepare, review and manage project budgets, cost plans, forecasts and valuations. Support the procurement and tendering of contractors, subcontractors and specialist suppliers. Prepare and evaluate tender documentation, quotations and commercial submissions. Review contractor applications for payment and certify valuations where appropriate. Manage variations, change control, compensation events and commercial risks. Monitor project costs against approved budgets and provide regular financial reporting. Prepare and agree final accounts with contractors and suppliers.
