The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor or Quantity Surveyor to join the team, taking a key role on a -6m fit-out project in Central London. This is a great chance to work on a flagship scheme and gain exposure within a dynamic and growing contractor.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing the commercial aspects of a -6m fit-out project from pre-construction through to final account
• Assisting with or leading procurement of subcontract packages
• Preparing and managing budgets, cost plans, and cash flow forecasts
• Valuations, variations, and cost reporting
• Liaising with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure commercial objectives are met
• Supporting the delivery of projects on time and within budget
• Identifying and managing commercial risks and opportunities

Requirements

• Experience working as an Assistant QS or QS within the fitout market
• Previous experience on fit-out or refurbishment projects is highly desirable
• Strong understanding of commercial processes and contract administration
• Ability to work independently on project-based responsibilities
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Degree qualified or working towards a relevant qualification (e.g., Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management)
