Quantity Surveyor Location: West Midlands Salary: Basic Salary is very much dependant on experience Assistant: Up to £45,000 or QS Upwards up to £67,000 Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent About the Company Our client is a leading fast-track retail and leisure fit-out contractor, delivering high-quality projects for a range of well-known national brands and high street retailers across the UK. With a strong reputation for delivering projects on time and within budget, they are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager to join their growing commercial team. The Role This is a turnkey commercial role offering full ownership of the financial management of projects from tender stage through to final account. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing the commercial performance of fast-track retail and leisure fit-out projects, ensuring profitability while maintaining strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and project teams. Working closely with operational teams, you will take responsibility for the entire commercial lifecycle of multiple projects. Key Responsibilities Commercial Management Take full commercial responsibility for projects from pre-construction through to final account. Manage project budgets, forecasts, valuations, and cost reporting. Monitor project performance and identify commercial risks and opportunities.
