Quantity SurveyorSalary: £75,000 - £80,000 per annumJob Type: Permanent, Full-TimeLocation: Office and Site-BasedThe OpportunityWe are working with an established construction and refurbishment contractor to recruit an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team.This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded Quantity Surveyor to take ownership of the financial and contractual aspects of construction and refurbishment projects, ensuring effective cost control, strong commercial performance and successful project delivery.The successful candidate will play a key role in managing project finances, working closely with operational teams, subcontractors and clients to ensure projects are delivered within budget and to the highest standards.The RoleAs Quantity Surveyor, your responsibilities will include: Managing the commercial aspects of construction and refurbishment projects from inception through to final account. Preparing and managing project budgets, cost plans and financial forecasts. Monitoring project costs, cash flow and overall commercial performance. Managing subcontractor procurement, negotiations and appointments. Reviewing and assessing subcontractor applications for payment. Preparing and submitting interim valuations and applications for payment. Managing variations, change control and contractual claims. Producing regular cost reports and financial forecasts.
