Quantity Surveyor - Construction Location: Bristol / South WestSalary: £50,000 - £65,000 dependent on experienceAre you an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking for your next opportunity with a growing construction business? Do you have a strong commercial background and experience managing costs across refurbishment, fit-out and general building projects?We are recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to join an established construction contractor delivering projects across a variety of sectors throughout the South West.This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative team, take ownership of project finances and play a key role in delivering projects successfully from inception through to final account.The Role As Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of multiple construction projects, ensuring effective cost control, accurate financial reporting and strong commercial performance throughout the project lifecycle.Key responsibilities include: Managing project costs, budgets and cash flow forecasts. Preparing valuations, applications for payment and final accounts. Managing subcontractor procurement, payments and accounts. Preparing and assessing variations, change orders and compensation events where applicable. Monitoring project expenditure and identifying potential commercial risks.
