Quantity Surveyor

Our client is a leading support services organisation, with a long term 35-year PFI contract, providing construction and facilities management services, across a complex range of commercial and industrial defence asset in Wiltshire and Hampshire. Your Role Lead the commercial delivery of a range of capital projects from pre-construction through to agreement of final accounts. Undertake site visits and surveys to support preparation of schedules, specifications and scopes of work. Work closely with procurement teams during tender processes, assisting with tender evaluations and recommendations. Produce cost plans, estimates and formal client submissions while maintaining robust cost and revenue forecasts. Assess project progress, validate supply chain invoices and payment applications, and review quotations and variations to ensure value for money. Manage project variations, instructions, contingency budgets, risk budgets, supply chain orders and payments. Provide commercial information to finance and central commercial teams and ensure compliance with company procedures and systems, including IFS. Support and promote QHSE policies and safe working practices during all activities and site visits. Qualifications and Experience: NVQ Level 3 or above in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline Full UK driving licence.
