Quantity Surveyor

I''m currently working with a well-established design and build contractor that''s looking to bring an experienced Quantity Surveyor into the team.

The business has built a strong reputation delivering high-quality fit-out and refurbishment projects across the hospitality, leisure and commercial sectors. They have a healthy pipeline of work, a supportive commercial team and are continuing to grow, so it''s a good opportunity for someone looking for long-term progression.

The role will see you involved from pre-construction right through to final account, managing the commercial aspects of multiple projects while working closely with clients, subcontractors and the wider project team.

• Managing project costs from start to finish.
• Preparing take-offs, Bills of Quantities and Scopes of Work.
• Procuring subcontractors and suppliers.
• Producing and managing procurement schedules.
• Preparing and issuing subcontract packages.
• Carrying out site visits.
• Managing valuations, variations and final accounts.
• Producing CVRs and monitoring project profitability.
• Working closely with operational teams to ensure projects remain commercially on track.
• Building strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and suppliers throughout the project lifecycle.

• Previous Quantity Surveying experience within fit-out, refurbishment or construction.
• Confident managing multiple projects at different stages.
• Strong commercial awareness with good negotiation skills.
• Someone who can work independently but is equally happy collaborating with the wider team.
• A proactive approach and the ability to build strong working relationships.
