Job Title: Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity SurveyorLocation: Derby (East Midlands)Sector: Construction - Fa ades and New Build (Residential and Commercial)Role Overview:We are seeking a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team, supporting the delivery of fa ade packages and new build construction projects across residential and commercial sectors. You will play a key role in managing project costs, subcontractors, and commercial performance from pre-construction through to final account.Key Responsibilities:Manage the commercial aspects of fa ade and new build projects from tender through to completionPrepare cost plans, budgets, and valuationsProcure and manage subcontractor packages, including cladding, glazing, and external envelope systemsAssess and manage variations, change control, and contractual noticesPrepare and submit interim valuations and final accountsMonitor project costs, cash flow, and profitabilityWork closely with project managers, design teams, and clientsEnsure compliance with contract terms (e.g. JCT / NEC)Identify risks and opportunities and support value engineeringRequirements:Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor within constructionExperience working on fa ade, cladding, or new build projectsStrong knowledge of commercial management and cost controlGood understanding of construction contracts (JCT / NEC)Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specificationsStrong ..... full job details .....
