Job Title: Quantity Surveyor - Telecoms/Utilities Location: Leeds (1/2 days per week on-site) Salary/Rate: Up to£550 per day (Inside IR35) Start Date: October 2025 Job Type: 13 week contractCompany Introduction: We are currently representing a global telecommunications client who are recruiting for an experienced Quantity Surveyor.Previous Telecoms/Utilities industry experience is a must have for this role.Required Skills/Experience: The ideal candidate will have the following:Telecoms or Utilities industry experience is a mustExperienced in NEC3/4 contractsCEMAR knowledgeRICS chartered advantageousIn depth experience of cost management within complex construction projectsUse of estimating and cost management systems2 years QS experience in major infrastructure programmesExperience of managing NEC project costs through EW/CE/AfP/Final Account processUnderstanding and experience of commercial estimating and benchmarkingEngineering based degree or equivalent, or working towards a recognised project controls qualification (NVQ level 4) is desirableJob Responsibilities/Objectives: The Quantity Surveyor is responsible for undertaking contract and project cost administration on Network Expansion projectsProvide cost management support on both NEC ECC and DBO contractsMonitor the regional commercial mailbox/CEMAR for incoming payment applications, variations and final accounts from contractorsAssess and validate payment applications, variations and final accounts from contractors ..... full job details .....
