Quantity Surveyor

Job Title: Quantity Surveyor Location: Norwich (with site visits as required), Non hybrid or WFH. Salary circ £50,000 - £55,000 per annum Initially on a temporary contract basis until 31 March 2027. Job Purpose The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for the effective commercial management of building and environmental service contracts delivered by our Norwich based environmental and property maintenance company. This includes repairs, void property works, damp remedial projects, and environmental services such as Grounds Maintenance, Street Cleansing, pest control, and cleaning services. The role ensures that all works are accurately specified, measured, and valued using the NATFED Schedule of Rates and Environmental schedule of rates, while maintaining financial control and ensuring value for money. The role has responsibility for contract management of subcontractors engaged to deliver works including agreement of scope, variations, monitoring quality of work, budgetary/cost control, payments and risk management. The postholder will drive both value for money and continuous improvement of our processes and service delivery.
